1969 májusában John Lennon a Beatles tagja és felesége Yoko Ono Montrealba érkeztek, felvették pizsamáikat és befeküdtek az ágyba, hogy így támogassák a békét. A Queen Elizabeth hotel 1742-es szobájának ágyában töltött egy hét egyike a már eleve eseménydús évtized legismertebb történeteinek. Képei szimbolikussá váltak. A dal, melyet itt vettek fel, a "Give Peace a Chance", azaz "Adj egy esélyt a békének", az első egyetemes béke himnusszá vált.
John és Yoko: "Adj a békének egy dalt" az ágyban töltött időszakra és a dalra is új szempontok alapján tekint. Bemutatja az elmúlt 25 év leghosszabb interjúját Ms. Onoval, és még két tucat interjút azokkal, akik meglátogatták őket az ágyban töltött időszak alatt, és akik még sosem meséltek élményeikről. Többek közt megszólal Petula Clark énekesnő, Gerry Deiter a Life magazin fényképésze, a quebec-i zenész Allen Radu, és néhány rajongó, akinek sikerült belopózniuk a népszerű párhoz. Pete Seeger is vendégszerepel a filmben és előadja a "Give Peace a Chance"-t.
Az "Adj a békének egy dalt" olyan eddig még sosem látott jeleneteket mutat be az ágyban töltött időszakról, melyek Yoko Ono magán archívumából származnak. A képsorok többsége ritkán volt látható a képernyőn, és néhány képsort csak egyszer, 35 évvel ezelőtt lehetett látni a CBC-n. (a borítóról)

Dés László 2018. december 29-én a Budapest Sportaréna színpadán csodálatos hangulatú koncertet adott. A nagyszabású koncerten az elmaradhatatlan slágerek mellett bemutatásra került az Éjféli járat című album, mely Dés László első olyan dallemeze, melyet önmagának, mint énekes előadónak írt, valamint zeneszerzői munkásságából ez alkalommal a színpadi darabok kerültek előtérbe. Az est folyamán felidézték a Valahol Európábant, a Dzsungel könyvét, A Pál utcai fiúkat és természetesen a legfrissebb színpadi művet, a Vágy villamosa balettet is!
A darabok felidézésében minden esetben a futó színházi produkció résztvevői voltak Dés László segítségére, a Valahol Európában gyerekkórusát a Pesti Magyar Színház gyerekkórusának előadásában hallhattuk, míg Hosszú szerepében Medveczky Balázst láthattuk, aki a Szegedi Nemzeti Színház társulatában alakítja a szerepet. A Dzsungel könyve táncosai a Pesti Színház táncosai, míg A Pál utcai fiúk szereplői a Vígszínház színészei voltak.Az Operaház táncművészei, Balaban Cristina és Majoros Balázs a Vágy villamosa-t idézték meg Winand Gábor énekes segítségével.
