Wings
Row 1. ch 5, form a ring. {Ch 4, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 1, dc} into the ring.
Row 2. ch 4, 3 dc into ch 1 space, {3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc} into the ch 2 space, 3 dc
into next ch 1 space, ch 1, dc into third ch of the beg of prev row
Row 3. ch 4, 3 dc into ch 1 space, 3 dc into each space between the clusters
of prev row until you get to the ch 2 space (middle). Into the ch 2
space: {3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc}, cont making 3 dc in each space between
clusters, 3 dc into ch 1 space, dc into third ch of the beg of prev row.
Row 4. rep Row 3.
Do not fasten off, now you’re going to crochet continuously the shells on the other
side of the wing:
6 dc into same space, sc into next space.
7 dc into the middle of the triangle, sc into next space
7 dc into next space, sc into last st. Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing. Make
another one.
Place the wing onto the back of the arm and body and secure it with a few pin.
Sew it continuously onto the bat.
Place the satin ribbon onto Chloe’s head and make a knot or a bow, as you prefer
